Introduction Cartoon.

Hey guys, to celebrate World Mental Health Day I’ve decided to “color” and fill out this cartoon by @journey_to_wellness_ . I had to step outside my comfort zone to create it. I don’t color in the lines well, and my hand-eye coordination is not the best (just ask my family about how I throw a ball) 😉. So, I asked my daughter to help me find and app. Next I had to color. Yikes! I decided that trying to make it perfect is NOT the point....so this is what I came out with. 🌸

I found it interesting that some of the things I love and accept about myself are also some of the things I’m learning to love and accept. Both are me...both are temporary. It is helps me to view this as a pendulum where we swing in and out of both perspectives. 🌸

I’m grateful to be alive at a time when conversations about mental health are everywhere. Obviously, we still have a ways to go. 🌸
