Dealing with Fear

Good morning guys, while journaling this morning I pulled the rabbit medicine card. Rabbit can teach us how to deal with our fear. Aside from the personal fears we all have, we are also facing fear on the national level. ๐ŸŒธ
FEAR can stand for False Evidence Appearing Real. (1st letter of each word ๐Ÿ˜Š) It can also stand for: Face Everything And Rise. Which will I choose today... or any moment I notice fear? I am willing to choose the latter. (Willing is as far as I can go right now). ๐ŸŒธ
One of the ways I face my fears is to write them down and for each fear, I allow the emotion to arise, and breathe INTO the feeling. I can observe and follow the movement of the feeling as it runs through my body. I like to imagine it flowing right into the earth for the energy to be transformed. I continue until I feel the emotion has moved through me and been released. ๐ŸŒธ
Of course, Iโ€™m not consistent with this practice...thatโ€™s where my mindfulness practices fit in. Whenever I notice a fear thought, or fear in my body, I can choose to handle things the old, ineffective ways, or try something new. ๐ŸŒธ
I invite you to try this and experiment with it. Donโ€™t take my word...experience it yourself! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป ๐ŸŒธ
